RN exam sections

RN nursing exam questions are based on the performance and work structure of nurses and are divided into 4 main parts. Each of these 4 parts is divided into other parts and finally divided into 8 related sub-sets. Before starting each stage, 15 test questions are shown to the individual which in some way indicates the type of questions that will be asked to the candidates in the following sections. The 4 main sections of the RN nursing exam questions include the following sections.

  • Safety and environmental care (between 25 and 35 percent)
  • Improving and maintaining the patient’s health (between 9 and 14 percent)
  • Mental and behavioral issues (between 6 and 12 percent)
  • Issues related to the patient’s physiological state (between 40 and 60 percent)

There are a maximum of 265 questions in this exam, and candidates must answer at least 75 of these questions.
